Hello Kitty Brand Scar

It probably doesn’t come as much of a surprise that I don’t get the popularity of the whole Hello Kitty tattoo thing. You would think that once someone sobered up after getting a Hello Kitty tattoo, they would pretty much have it out of their system (as the beat themselves over the head for being so stupid), but I guess I just don’t get Hello Kitty fanatics (wow, big surprise there). It appears that a Hello Kitty forehead tattoo wasn’t enough for this guy (then again, a Hello Kitty tattoo inked squarely in the middle of your forehead pretty much already signifies that you take the evil feline a bit too seriously), so why not add a Hello Kitty brand scar as well:

Hello Kitty brand scar

I think I can just leave this one to speak for itself and no further commentary is needed on my part. What I can say is that finding this in my email box is definitely not the way that I want to begin a new week, a new month or to mark having spent 2 years recording my Hello Kitty Hell because it simply confirms that things can continue to get worse in the years ahead…

Sent in by Danielle (via myspace) who should have to get one of these herself (even several) for ever thinking that it could be a smart idea to send me a photo like this…

    ….creepy

  • Indiana says:

    That hand looks disgusting.

    Imagine touching your scar, and your finger feels the outlines. x___x

    That is creepy beyond belief. And I like weird, gross stuff.

    And WHAT the freaking hell was he thinking getting a tattoo on his forehead and a scar on his hand….

    ….I think I’m gonna chuck up what I had for breakfast. PLEASE someone hand me a bag. X__X

  • Kitteh!! says:

    Wierd, and this despite having Goth friends.

  • mhkitty says:

    Dear Lord!
    I’m more than a little freaked out…

  • Rhianimator says:

    This is so…. Hello Kitty meets the Manson Family. *shudders*

  • I love kitties … but not on my forehead!

    Happy blogoversary!

  • Suzanne says:

    Please tell me your wife doesn’t want to do this.

  • andophiroxia says:

    I can’t help but thinking how “emo” this is, but at the same time, I think this may go beyond “emo” even.

  • Lucy says:

    I like tattoos and branding to some extent…. but…..

    your forehead?
    Hand???

    plz… someone call this guy’s mother and tell her to give him a nice hug…

  • Jason says:

    I’d like to see that guy (or girl?) try to get a job, and get instantly denied.

  • I wonder what bank he works at?

  • moriyah says:

    It’s quite interesting how far some people with take their obsession… and that is pretty damn far. This guy is frightening in his fanaticism.

  • edward says:

    Anyone else notice that his arm looks like a funny rubber sleeve or something?

  • Acton says:

    The real joke is one day this guy may want to grow out of the punk goth or whatever scene, or the band breaks up. Good luck trying to get a decent real job with a hello kitty tattoo on your forehead and scar.

  • hkFairWeatherFriend says:

    know what would suck? if he keloids and that thing raises up and gets really painful!

  • andophiroxia says:

    scabby=cuteness?

    You decide!

  • jennster says:

    ew. period.

  • Kempy says:

    Wowey wow wow! Someone’s mommy didn’t hold them enough.

  • moriyah says:

    @Kempy
    Or held too much and he was smothered and had to break out in any and every way possible!

  • Kempy says:

    Ahh that makes more sense…. That’s how he’s able to have his freakish look. Duane (he looks like he has a nerdy name like that and is about 40yrs old) still lives in his mommy’s basement and cuts himself when he’s feeling blue inside. He has his freak friends over playing D&D and listening to Marilyn Manson she’ll come down with tater tots and juice boxes…. sorry I read way too far into that.

  • moriyah says:

    @Kempy
    Quite all right, that was just too funny! Juice boxes… awesome.

  • Lucy says:

    hey! plz dont insult the d&d players… (one myself)

    and…. i wonder if darlene has something positive to say about this.

    Yes… im aware im calling the troll…. but c’mon… arent you all wondering the same thing?

  • Miaplz? says:

    Aha, thats amazing xD
    Talk about devotion.
    Dude has some pretty sick dread falls there, though =D

  • Sara Dane says:

    @ Lucy
    I wouldn’t go around admitting you’re a D&D player so freely like that…

    I call BS on the whole picture! Looks like someone took a trip to Target and got some Temporary tattoos for the forehead, and photo shopped that hand… I say it’s nothing more then an outrageous attempt to see what kind of attention they can get… Which goes back to what everyone else was saying about the Mommy juice box thing :)

  • Lucy says:

    @sara dane

    if vin dissel can… why cant i?

    and i play a lot of other games too …

  • Sara Dane says:

    Vin Dissel…. Is that supposed to be impressive? Maybe if you said something like “if Donald Trump plays why can’t I?”…… Then, maybe I would reconsider revoking my previous statement, but Vin Dissel?? You can’t be serious, he nothing more then D list actor, who contributes nothing more then beefy muscles to society… Definitely not the spokes person you should want to try and convince the skeptical that D&D is cool for anyone over 12…

  • Jaime says:

    first, Vin Diesel and Donald Trump are both pretty crappy people. there isn’t a person on this planet (not even HK herself) that could make D&D cool.

    secondly, have we run out of actually interesting HK things?! i want to see some weird HK product not just people who injure themselves.

  • andophiroxia says:

    I loved Vin Diesel in the Riddick series. The character is way cool. Plus, I love his name. It’s just a cool name.

    D&D and gaming is cool too, but then there are a lot of interesting things in the world anyways if you pay attention to them enough. :P

    @Kempy

    What an awesome analysis! :P Juice boxes. Hee.

  • andophiroxia says:

    @Lucy

    Which D&D games have you played, and the ones with the D&D “engine”? I liked Whitewolf myself personally (even though it’s derived a bit from that engine.)

  • moriyah says:

    VIN DIESEL IS HOTTNESS. He makes wife beaters and BDU’s look great…

    And just a note: there is certainly nothing wrong with D&D… many friends of mine play and we all played Whitewolf long, long ago. Don’t knock it ’till ya try it! ;)

    And there is certainly nothing fake about this pic… this guy has some serious HK love or he really likes to be able to shock the S**t out of people. I’m guessing the latter…

  • andophiroxia says:

    @ moriyah

    Yeah, Vin Diesel has this sort of masculine hotness that isn’t in many male celebrities lately. The other approximation is Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman.

    They’re very MALE. :P YUM.

  • HKPepper says:

    Yucky! why are they making such hideous things and associate it with hello kitty?? hello kitty should reflect the child in you… not with some creepy drug lord or heavy metal rocker wannabes…

  • Jason says:

    Are people saying good things about Vin Diesel? If you looked up “Bad Actor,” half of his picture would be next to the definition, and if you looked up “gay,” the other other half of his picture would be there.

  • Kitteh!! says:

    Yeah. Lay off gamers. Of the ones I know, about half are clever, witty guys, and the other half are clever, witty, cute girls!

    Emos and Goths don’t game!

  • Sara Dane says:

    @ Moriyah
    I like the long, long ago part… So you agree about the 12 year thing?

    @Jason
    Thank you, at least someone can see past his wife beater!

    And I still say the picture is fake!

  • andophiroxia says:

    I don’t know, the scabbiness seems to be rather convincing to me. Considering that this guy was a dork enough to get the tat, I could see that he could go for that brand.

  • Alfred says:

    He kinda looks like a serial killer…

    “The Hello Kitty Murders”…NEXT…on 48 HOURS…

  • Liz says:

    @edward and Sara Dane

    Hey, I think you’re right! Is anybody looking at this thing? The edges of the head and shoulder are weird kinda like it was cut and pasted on. I’ve done stuff like this (though I’ve always said they’re fake!) so I sorta know what it looks like. The anatomy’s weird too. Can anyone confirm this thing is real?

  • Susana says:

    I think Vin Diesel (not vin DISSEL) IS hot. I couldn’t care less if he’s gay or bad actor, what I love about him are his abs and let’s face it, I’m not gonna marry him -_- . I find it weird that people look for baddies in an actor’s life or performance to put him down, I mean, HE couldn’t care less (and neither could I). Besides I loved him in RIDDICK, and so did the majority of people who saw the movie, there are worst actors and they can’t even be rated of how terrible they are.
    Post this I think that guy is insane, not only for the hello kitty madness (that tattoo looks like a stamp, let’s nail him to Australia because he looks like an aborigene), but because while half the world (me included) is trying to get read of scars, he makes them intentionally, which makes of him a dumb person. As for a job, the only one he’ll get is supporting another hello kitty fanatic, and I don’t know how he’ll do that.

  • Kempy says:

    If i was a D&D player, and i’m DEF not but if i was, i’d rather be in the same catagory as the tranny kook up there than Vin douchebag…just sayin

  • andophiroxia says:

    You know, I forgot to mention Daniel Craig. He’s a fine piece too. :P

  • Sara Dane says:

    @ Kempy
    Ahahahahahacan’tstoplaughingahahahaha :D

  • moriyah says:

    @ Sara Dane
    No I don’t agree with the 12 year old thing.

    This guy sent in the pic of the tattoo while he was getting it done, so I don’t think that he would photoshop a HK scar to his hand for kicks. He looks very unreal to begin with so just chaulk it up to his bizarre masochistic personality.

  • Binks says:

    @Sara Dane
    I really do think the tattoo is real, but the hand? Who knows with what these sick freaks do to themselves. Yuck is all I can say about it.

    I agree with the whole Vin thing – he IS a D lister. Besides, he is just gross. Yes he has muscles but the whole pkg? I think not.

    Beware – a lot of these readers are sort of gaming /comic / furry sorts and may get offended when you dis their strange little hobbies.

  • Binks says:

    @ Alfred
    ROFL!

  • Lucy says:

    Im not saying Vin Dissel is cool or whatever, but no one goes over there and says “dont say you play d&d”.

    I just hate the bad prejudice everyone has for players. Playing I met my current boyfriend, ive met some of the nicest, craziest and funny ppl around. None of them are psychos, some of them are really “cool” ppl, and mostly everyone has a profesional career and such.

    You read more, think more and socialize more in a “clean” enviroment. I stopped drinking even… but well…

    @andophiroxia
    I dont like the d&d “engine” so much. Ive just played plain d&d for some time… but the games ive most played are WoD (Hunter, Changeling, etc.), Legend of the five rings, Star Wars and my personal favorite: 7th Sea.

  • Jason says:

    D&D console or computer games are fine. But if you dress up and play it with pencil and paper or w/e, then you need to rethink your hobbies lol.

  • andophiroxia says:

    @Lucy

    Wow, I’ve been out of it for some time. However, a lot of the paper and pencil game companies are now going to computer games. I find that real cool.

    Aside, a lot of RPGs and MMORPGS seem to adopt a lot of the “engine” I find it pretty cool.

    Hey, I could say D&D kept kids occupied and off the street hooking for drugs. But then, it kept us adults benevolently amused.

    Except when we sacrifice goats to Satan. ;)

  • Binks says:

    @ andophiroxia
    It was the stoners that were playing the D&D (on paper) in my day.
    As for the Satan sacrifice – your eternity brother.

  • Sara Dane says:

    @ Lucy
    “if vin dissel can… why cant i?” If he’s not “cool” then why make a statement saying if he can play why can’t I??? Just asking… And I said I wouldn’t throw it around so freely, not don’t say you play. On the other hand, if you were throwing em’ back a little too often for your liking and the D&D saved your day.. Play on sista, play on!!
