As I explained, a tear of hopelessness dropped from the corner of my eye knowing that all is not right in the world when my wife’s first introduction to the Sex Pistols is through Hello Kitty. That, my friends, is true Hello Kitty Hell…

It’s my wife finding stuff like this that is making me reconsider this whole twitter and facebook thing. I made the (unforgivable)assumption that by putting Hello Kitty Hell on facebook and twitter and making short photo dump posts, I would be able to dwindle the backlog of the hundreds of evil feline photos that fanatics have sent that crowd my email. As I should have anticipated, the exact opposite has happened and now I get even more photos sent to me even as I place more up. Even worse, my wife has found that searching these venues means that she can find even more Hello Kitty stuff to drool over.

The Hello Kitty Hello Kitty is a perfect case and point. She has found that searching the past tweets of people that commented to me how wonderful the evil feline is (there really is no justice in the world) often results in discoveries that she absolutely loves and then I must suffer through the rest of the day listening to why it is so wonderful.

Apparently, making Hello Kitty out of Hello Kitty crap is a fantastic and creative form of art that I just seem not to understand. This is no surprise, however, since this is often the way things are when you live in Hello Kitty Hell…

Unfortunately found by my wife from miss_island_619 who should have to live with and use all the Hello Kitty crap in that photo as punishment for ever thinking that tweeting about it could be a good idea…

Update: I really, really didn’t need to see more of this, especially up close. Apparently, that is of no consequence to reader Seny that emailed these close-ups to my horror, but great joy to my wife…

My wife just absolutely adores this collaborative figure from Dr. Romanelli and Medicom and that Hello Kitty has such cute internal organs. I made the mistake of trying to explain the obvious that Hello Kitty really doesn’t have internal organs which elicited a stern warning look that I should not carry on any further. My suggestion that maybe we should start cutting open different Hello Kitty lying around the house (hey, if we have a Hello kitty knife, why not put it to good use?) to see if their internal organs matched this figure didn’t go over too well either as probably should have been expected.

Although I pushed the limit, I did manage to stop before I was sent to the couch to sleep in the Hello Kitty sleeping bag. Sometimes, despite the overwhelming urge not to, even I manage to stop while still ahead in Hello Kitty Hell…

Of course, my wife loves this historical perspective (the Hello Kitty toilet paper in our house is arranged by design year) and continues to play this video over and over again while continually asking me to come over and watch as she comments on all the different designs.

All I can say is that I have a new found hatred of dolphins — if that damn 1978 dolphin had not appeared to catch Hello Kitty as she fell from the plane (I actually had high hopes for a second that Hello Kitty wouldn’t make it) and let the evil feline drop into the sea to drown, life would be a lot better in our household. Instead, I get to hear minute details about the history of Hello Kitty design changes which most definitely is Hello Kitty Hell…

It’s not often that my wife immediately has a negative reaction to something that involves the evil feline, so when she does, I have a pretty good idea that I’m not going to think it’s quite as horrific as most of the Hello Kitty crap I see. “Why would someone want to shoot Hello Kitty? That’s cruel!”

I briefly considered asking my wife which Hello Kitty gun she thought the hunter used, but decided that not sleeping on the couch in the Hello Kitty sleeping bag would be a nice change of pace for once…

This sneak peek would have any sane person refusing to step foot anywhere in California, let alone Los Angeles, during the art run. Since my wife is a Hello Kitty fanatic, however, her instinct is to want to attend the event which usually means dragging me in tow much like this.

The only saving grace I have at the moment is there may be a schedule conflict that will save me from the insufferable pain of having to attend this event. If you see a tall man with the look in his eyes that he wants to take any one of the many Hello Kitty guns and annihilate the entire show, then you know my wife managed to get me there and add yet another step to the depths of Hello Kitty Hell…

Of course, my wife absolutely loves it and would love to take a ride in it. She thinks that traveling in a Hello Kitty spaceship would be the best way to make friends with any alien life forms we may meet along the way.

I’m not so sure about this. If I was an alien civilization and there was a giant cartoon cat spaceship like this hovering over my world, I would instantly question the sanity of any species that would want to create such an abomination. My first reaction would be to blow the thing to smithereens and ask questions later. Just saying…

I find it to be most appropriate that there’s a needle stuck inside Hello Kitty’s head and the result of this is to produce a cloud with a bow on it (actually, I thought there was even less up there than water vapor, so I need to apologize and I stand corrected). Beyond that, however, things take a turn for the worse. Hello Kitty Evolution connects her to four main launching points: Strawberry Hospital, Daniel Travel, Mrs. Ribbon Salon and Kitty Cafe.

Of course, the evolution doesn’t stop there and the future expansion doesn’t look pretty. Hello Kitty has targeted Kitty College, Star Museum, Hello Tower, Kuromi Cinema, KT Formula, KT Company Ltd., Kitty Police Station, Badtz Maru Playground, Nekosen Station and Kitty Boutique. Welcome to the world that Hello Kitty envisions for all of you.

Sanrio actually lets it slip that there is such thing as an evil Hello Kitty and I’m pretty sure we all know that she is the one attribute that dominates the people at Sanrio. Kitty’s Experimental City doesn’t do anything to alleviate that concern:
