If you really had any doubt (and if you have been to this blog, that certainly is not the case) about how prevalent the evil feline is in the world, this Hello Kitty “Wonderful World of Hello Kitty” graphic should thoroughly depress you for the next few years (click on image to enlarge at your own risk):

I was going to attempt to comment on everything listed, but as I started, I found myself seriously wanting to drink some Koolaid to put me out the misery of realizing that the graphic is a history of my life (see, all of a sudden your life is looking pretty damn good, doesn’t it?) I have no doubt that when my wife sees this, she will dutifully mark down any of the things listed that we may have somehow missed up to this point so that I can continue to live in Hello Kitty Hell for yet another year…

Hello Kitty Bombs In Boxes

There is no doubt that Hello Kitty loves her guns, so there really is no surprise that the evil feline would also eventually find her face on bombs. While these are artwork, you know that this has inspired the employees at Sanrio, and that it’s only a matter of time before she shows her mug on the real thing…

Surprisingly to me, my wife is not in the least bit offended by these. She seems to have the idea that if Hello Kitty bombs were ever dropped, they would explode with love and happiness instead of shrapnel. I, on the other hand, imagine that they would be filled with toxic gas that would cause delusions that the evil feline was something postive for the world population. This would be far worse, far more painful and far more devastating than any shrapnel bomb could ever be. Now you know for sure that the people at Sanrio are desperately trying to make the Hello Kitty bomb a reality and make my Hello Kitty Hell that much worse…

The evil feline has no shame. It was obvious that the entire Three Apples 35th Anniversary celebration was going to be Pepto Bismol pink Hell from the beginning, and the appearance of Paris Hilton made things that much worse. Now that photos from the event are being sent to me left and right (seriously folks, I’ve already seen far more than I ever want to see of this event), this travesty shows that Hello Kitty will try to brand herself to absolutely anything — there is no other explanation for the Hello Kitty Sid Vicious mural:

When I nearly fell out of my chair in disgust upon seeing this, my wife asked me what the problem was. I explained that they had painted Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols wearing Hello Kitty to which she replied: “Who is Sid Vicious and what are the Sex Pistols?”

As I explained, a tear of hopelessness dropped from the corner of my eye knowing that all is not right in the world when my wife’s first introduction to the Sex Pistols is through Hello Kitty. That, my friends, is true Hello Kitty Hell…

It pains me greatly to have to write the evil feline’s name each time I make a new post on this blog. The simple fact that I had to type Hello Kitty twice for the title of this post should be enough to warn you that what you are about to see isn’t going to be pretty — Hello Kitty made out of Hello Kitty goods:

It’s my wife finding stuff like this that is making me reconsider this whole twitter and facebook thing. I made the (unforgivable)assumption that by putting Hello Kitty Hell on facebook and twitter and making short photo dump posts, I would be able to dwindle the backlog of the hundreds of evil feline photos that fanatics have sent that crowd my email. As I should have anticipated, the exact opposite has happened and now I get even more photos sent to me even as I place more up. Even worse, my wife has found that searching these venues means that she can find even more Hello Kitty stuff to drool over.

The Hello Kitty Hello Kitty is a perfect case and point. She has found that searching the past tweets of people that commented to me how wonderful the evil feline is (there really is no justice in the world) often results in discoveries that she absolutely loves and then I must suffer through the rest of the day listening to why it is so wonderful.

Apparently, making Hello Kitty out of Hello Kitty crap is a fantastic and creative form of art that I just seem not to understand. This is no surprise, however, since this is often the way things are when you live in Hello Kitty Hell…

Unfortunately found by my wife from miss_island_619 who should have to live with and use all the Hello Kitty crap in that photo as punishment for ever thinking that tweeting about it could be a good idea…

Update: I really, really didn’t need to see more of this, especially up close. Apparently, that is of no consequence to reader Seny that emailed these close-ups to my horror, but great joy to my wife…

Hello Kitty Dr. Romanelli Internal Organs Figure

One of the many (many, many…) problems with Hello Kitty fanatics is their desire to make everything cute. This includes things that were never meant to be cute such as one’s internal organs. So it’s really no surprise that what is really inside you and what the evil feline wants all to believe is inside you are not quite the same:

My wife just absolutely adores this collaborative figure from Dr. Romanelli and Medicom and that Hello Kitty has such cute internal organs. I made the mistake of trying to explain the obvious that Hello Kitty really doesn’t have internal organs which elicited a stern warning look that I should not carry on any further. My suggestion that maybe we should start cutting open different Hello Kitty lying around the house (hey, if we have a Hello kitty knife, why not put it to good use?) to see if their internal organs matched this figure didn’t go over too well either as probably should have been expected.

Although I pushed the limit, I did manage to stop before I was sent to the couch to sleep in the Hello Kitty sleeping bag. Sometimes, despite the overwhelming urge not to, even I manage to stop while still ahead in Hello Kitty Hell…

Hello Kitty 35 Anniversary Video Hell

To celebrate her 35th birthday, the people at Sanrio decided to put together the ultimate 2 and a half minute torture video which will surely be used on terrorist until the UN intercedes and declares it inhumane. Unfortunately, they didn’t intercede quickly enough to save me (or you if you are insane enough to watch it):

Of course, my wife loves this historical perspective (the Hello Kitty toilet paper in our house is arranged by design year) and continues to play this video over and over again while continually asking me to come over and watch as she comments on all the different designs.

All I can say is that I have a new found hatred of dolphins — if that damn 1978 dolphin had not appeared to catch Hello Kitty as she fell from the plane (I actually had high hopes for a second that Hello Kitty wouldn’t make it) and let the evil feline drop into the sea to drown, life would be a lot better in our household. Instead, I get to hear minute details about the history of Hello Kitty design changes which most definitely is Hello Kitty Hell…

Hello Kitty MAC Cosmetic Signage

I would basically like to wipe the entire Hello Kitty MAC cosmetic line — and the advertising they did — completely from my mind due to the traumatizing effect it caused that I’m still recovering from. It’s difficult to have a positive outlook on life when you have seen the MAC make-up video and S&M Hello Kitty men. So it is no surprise that the artwork signage for MAC also leaves one shaking their head wondering what type of drugs the people were taking that came up with the entire concept. Maybe they took a few too many tokes from the Hello Kitty Louis Vuitton bong or got hold of some of that Hello Kitty cocaine…
